Winter:

PLAN DE CORONES

The Number One Ski Area in South Tyrol
20 modern cableways, 6 chair lifts as well as 5 ski lifts take you from three different sides up to the summit which awaits you with a great view and wide slopes which go gently down the mountain. In winter 2006/07 the Kronplatz mountain reached closer to the centre of the Dolomites thanks to the connection to the Sellaronda! This was made possible with the construction of the new cableway and the black ski-run „Piculin“.

THE SECRET MECCA OF CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

The wide and sunny valley is perfectly suited for cross-country skiing and enjoying the beautiful landscape at the same time.
The 42 km long well prepared tracks offer skiing opportunities for all the different types of cross-country skiers, for those who love skating, for those who prefer the classical technique, for people who like leisurely speed and sport maniacs find perfect steeper tracks towards the end of the valley. For those who want to improve their skills, there are good and motivated skiing instructors. From Christmas to the middle of march you can normally find perfectly prepared tracks.
When the snow conditions are good you can reach the villages Taisten and Welsberg and from there you can go on, on the tracks of the "Pustertaler Skimarathon".

We belong to the newly founded organization „Dolomiti NordicSki“, European’s biggest cross-country ski trail system, which today already comprises about 1,300 km cross-country ski runs in the Dolomites.

We invite you to go on a little discovery journey through the Kronplatz Holiday Region with its 14 constituent parts. These 14 villages lie between 786 and 1,650 meters (2,579 and 5,414 ft) above sea level. Plain quality and honest hospitality are features of the attractive vacation offer.
Holiday 360°
Experience the Holiday Region Kronplatz with the new Mobilecard. Use the various means of transport of the South Tyrolean Public Transport System and travel to different valleys and cities, go on walking-tours with different starting and end points or simply enjoy the landscape. We have special offers for families. The mobile card is free of charge for children up to the age of 6 and half price for children from 6 to 16.

Winter: Slopes
With oder 100 km of slopes and modern lifts, Kronplatz (2275 m) is the mountain for sophisticated skiing and snowboarding. Its ample and sunny plateau and long ski runs all the way down to the valley in three cardinal directions are a real treat for sun lovers.
If required, Kronplatz may be equipped with artificial snow up to 100%. It offers only the highest quality skiing and snowboarding as well as a maximum level of safety on the slopes. Freeriders and freestylers will get their money's worth at the "Snowpark Kronplatz" packed with rails, boxes and kickers. Several different areas and Kids' Parks provide for a great deal of fun and variety for the little ones and are rounded off by the professional programmes of local ski schools.
